About the Competition

Requires:

1. Creation of an app using any programming language(Java, Scratch, Python, etc) to develop an app.

2. The app must be able to read/process position and slope data of the lunar South Pole Region

3. Displays all of the slope data in a meaningful way

4. Visualize a path that accounts for mission planning goals and identify communication link checkpoints.

5. Identify and explain a landing and destination site as well as areas of interest along the path. (high school teams only)

6. Calculate and display elevation and azimuth angles. (high school teams only)

7. Submit a video of original student-led work on the completed app.
