Why we are Doing This

The Fundamentals

Currently, girls are underrepresented in STEM competitions. There aren't a lot of resources, tools, or guidance in this specific area for young girls. By increasing this representation in competitions, girls can feel inspired and welcomed by having peers and role models that are similar to them

Participating in competitions can teach young girls important skills such as critical thinking, innovation, and leadership. It allows them to apply skills to areas that can make a tangible impact on the future, and to stretch themselves by taking risks. Diverse ideas are important to innovative solutions— by incorporating more women, we can come up with more solutions to pressing problems.
